The 3 Ways You Can Turn Your Pain Into God’s Promise

There is something we all share in common whether rich or poor; we all experience peaks and valleys of joy and sadness. No one is a stranger to pain. Heartache, physical injury, family drama, failed relationships and the like; pain doesn’t discriminate. Pain is an equal opportunity employer.

But, even pain has a powerful purpose in your life. The key is knowing which pain is useful and which pain is useless.

Well, let me ask you this: What are your issues? What are your needs? What’s causing you to worry and cry? What keeps you up at night? What have you lost?

Your pain be it physical, emotional, mental or financial at this moment is a clue where destiny is calling you too. The life of Joseph is a clear illustration of this fact.

Sure it hurts. Yes, you want the pain to go away but you have to know that your Heavenly Father will not allow you to suffer beyond His capacity to bless you.

It’s a hard lesson to learn but the depth of your pain determines the depth of your blessing. Ask Job.

Pain is important because it reveals something is wrong. It’s your body’s way of communicating to you that it needs help. Your body asks for help, because it trusts you will fix what is going wrong.

Life with all of its advantages enters the world with pain. A baby could live in their mother’s womb forever but the womb knows when the baby is ready for their next level in life. The mother may be so excited that she can’t wait to give birth but she doesn’t determine the baby’s transition from the security of her womb to her arms.

It’s not until the woman feels pain and discomfort that she knows it’s time to give birth.

With every push of pain you are experiencing now; your pain is making room for your blessing.

How do you know that you are on the verge of transitioning into your own promised land?

I’ll answer that with another question; How constant and how deep are the contractions [attacks] coming? You think it’s the devil; nope it’s delivery–prophetic delivery.   Make no mistake, Satan is God’s servant. He can’t do anything to you without God’s foreknowledge.

The same substance God used to create light is the same substance He is using to create your promotion, your deliverance, your victory, your prosperity, your healing and  your success; through His Word.

You cannot separate God’s promises to you from “The Word”.  The Word is the living embodiment of God. I don’t know if you understand the significance of this revelation.

One of the best examples of prophetic promise is through the life of Joseph. All he had was a dream and a whole lot of heartache. The dream revealed prominence and prosperity but he didn’t know the process–he didn’t know how this was going to happen.

Your present level of pain is positioning you for the palace.

Sometimes life feels like you’re in a holding pattern. God spoke but nothing is happening.

Your pains can help to move you from the place that you have been stationed at too long.

Pain says “Hey look at me, fix me”.

Waters that remain stagnant; later begin to create a foul smell.

What’s smelling bad in your life?

Have you stayed where you are too long?

Pain is the body’s way to tell you something is wrong.

Your present level of pain is calling you to give attention to the things that must be dealt with before you start manifesting God’s promise.

Child birth is the perfect illustration for how prophecy really works.

Like a baby in their mother’s womb, transition comes in waves and cycles of contractions.

The 3 Most Valuables Lessons for Prophetic Destiny

1 — Your attitude towards your enemies will determine how long you stay in the pit of scorn and abuse.

2– Your diligence to serve your captors will determine how long you stay in the position of servitude and suffering.

3 – Your ability to offer your gifts in excellence for free will determine how long you stay in the prison of injustice.

And if you have not been faithful in that which is another’s; who will give you that which is your own? Luke 16:12

Joseph was faithful with what belonged to another. Promotion came because he allowed his gifts and talents to prosper another.

Can you be trusted with the riches that belong to your employer?

This is not just about money. How you use what God has deposited in you will determine how and when you receive your healing and deliverance.

Had Joseph become bitter and complacent, he would have “mis-carried”.

Joseph found favor from Potiphar, the cupbearer and the Pharaoh.

Now the LORD had said to Abram (Abraham); “Get out of your country, from your kindred and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. (Genesis 12:1-3)

Do you ask yourself? “Lord, why?” “Lord, when? “Lord, how?”

Destiny has a way of dragging you through situations that look and feel like it will kill you. Keep your eye on the prize.

Beloved, no matter your situation–stand with immovable faith. When your faith is immovable, God’s promises are undeniable.

Faith wants you to trust in the integrity of the One that has promised you.

There is absolutely nothing that happens to you that is not designed for your good. I know that it may not feel like it right now.

A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men. Proverbs 18:16

Your unique abilities, expertise and ingenuity are making room for you.

What does this “room” mean? It means opportunity, physical territory and influence. How far and how high? As far as your eyes can see.

And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him:“Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward and westward. Genesis 13:14

Many have looked at your life as a spectacle and some are enjoying seeing you crumble. That’s OK, all those pieces will be used to create your new royal residence.

Don’t give up on your dreams because your dreams are never going to give up on you.

Don’t press the panic button. Don’t jump off the ship. And, for sure don’t throw yourself off the train.

It’s no coincidence that the word “crowning” is the word used to describe when the baby’s head starts to become visible.

You’re about to “crown”. Don’t retreat. Don’t wallow in self-pity and condemnation. Push! Push! Push!
